The past year was such an awesome year as we celebrated numerous successes in our athletic program and ventured into new territory in our Fine Arts program. Athletics and Fine Arts provide an excellent platform for training character and reinforcing the community connection of LCA. Successful programs like these benefit not only the students directly involved, but also the student and family body as well. I appreciate your willingness to become involved in the lives of our students and their extracurricular activities.

In addition to these teams we also introduced tennis to our athletic program for the first time. We had enough participants to have two teams and tennis looks to be a popular addition. Tennis was just one of the several firsts on campus this year.

We opened The Lodge and the Lion's Den for basketball on December 3rd, 2009. We cannot wait to play our first volleyball matches there this fall. March 6th saw us host our very first baseball and softball games on campus with two incredible facilities. That day was a beehive of activity as dozens of volunteers and students worked feverishly to wrap up field work just one hour before the first pitches were thrown by Marty Lee (Softball) and Doug Monda (Baseball).

With the addition of a gymnasium and three athletic fields on campus now, we'd like to see a record-breaking number of Booster Club members. With the economy on everyone's mind your Booster Club Board has redesigned a few membership levels to make them more affordable to you. You will find the new membership packages below or in the attachment.

Through these more affordable opportunities we will strive to achieve higher participation and thereby increase our fiscal ability to contribute to our LCA athletic programs. By joining the LCA Booster Club you will help us provide a balanced athletics program that both encourages our students to make Christian character a top priority while striving to use their god given gifts to excel in the activity of their choice.
