Middle School

The W.E.L.L. is a place where our middle school students can put feet to their faith. The W.E.L.L. means walking, engaging, living, and learning and it is in this environment that students are encouraged through bi-monthly teachings "eXperience 3". We believe that there are three things that every student should experience in life, three things they must have in order for them to have a personal, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Those three things are wonder, discovery and passion. WONDER speaks to your faith and relationship with God. DISCOVERY speaks to your relationship with yourself and how your daily purpose and choices connect with God's truth. Passion speaks to your role and responsibility to love and influence those around you. These three issues drive the strategy, resources and content of XP3, the curriculum used in our chapel program. Students also have an opportunity to flesh out what they have heard in a small group environment

High School

Energy...the ability to cause change, Students come to Energy on a bi-monthly rotation in order to be encouraged in their walk. Similar to the W.E.L.L., after a time of worship and teaching; students break into small groups each week. This allows students to have some accountability and do life with their peers and small group leader.

Breakaway

Upper School students (6th-12th grade) participate in Breakaway, an annual day set aside for spiritual emphasis. This day is centered around creating intentional time spent with their Heavenly Father and with each other without the academic demands of a typical school day. The theme is chosen each year by LCA high school students. Students explore the many aspects of the theme and discover that God has a specific plan, purpose, and a desire to spend time with each of them. The day includes a special keynote speaker, team building activities or small group, personal devotion time, written worship, lunch, a concert, and mail call (letters of encouragement from parents, grandparents, peers, youth leaders, etc).
