This morning, Grad 2 Grad launched for its second year as senior Grad to Grad students were matched with the kindergarten students in a big reveal. Kinders squealed as they were greeted by their senior(s) for the first time! We have 17 kindergarten students & 26 senior students participating this year.
“I think Grad to Grad is cool because I get my own senior just for me. And, we get to graduate together!”
Grad to Grad is one of the intentional ways LCA works to unite our Upper School and Lower School students. Our desire and purpose is that the senior student will be a Godly spiritual and social influence that leads their kindergartener. The idea was proposed by two former students, Kevin Allen and Rylee Atwell. As seniors, they proposed this program to build upon relationships they had already established with staff member kids. We are grateful for the initiative that Kevin & Rylee took to create this program at LCA.
