Beyond the Bell provides enrichment opportunities for students in most grade levels for an additional fee. Opportunities include music options in piano, guitar, and drum, as well as interpretive dance for our lower school students. Individual music lessons can be scheduled strategically during the school day, as well as before and after school.

JumpStart, our Before Care program, and AfterCare are a part of our extended care program where students can arrive to school before school hours and stay until 6:00 p.m. This program is designed to assist for parents whose work schedule doesn’t allow for drop off and pick up at school start and stop times.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD!” (Psalm 150:6)  We were created to praise God!  Praise is the outward expression of our inner state of being.  Dance is visible praise and can be presented through a choreographed dance--a ministry dance with a story that includes dramatic overtones.

Interpretive Dance is an expression of prayer or worship through body movement and dance styles.  Such dances are accompanied by many different types of music, and the dancers will respond with an appropriate choreographed piece that flows out of the music and enhances the prayer or worship experience.

Additional details are available in the Interpretive Dance policy brochure.

If you have any questions, contact Gina Morton.

LCA's extended care program is available to PreK3 through 8th-grade students during hours before and after normal school times. Students will have the opportunity to complete homework, play outside, and participate in elevated and organized activities. Our desire is to create a fun and exciting time for students!

Jump Start is a fun, morning program for LCA students, PreK3-5th grade. Jump Start is an opportunity for students to actively engage in movement, games, and fun activities in a positive and safe environment. Drop off will begin at 7:00 a.m. each day.

Parents can enroll their children monthly for a discounted rate or drop-in, as needed. Aside from being a fun way to interact with classmates, research shows that just ten minutes of exercise improves focus and problem-solving in the hours immediately following an exercise session. Daily physical activity also helps to promote healthy growth and development and will improve students’ physical and mental well-being. So, let’s get moving and Jump Start LCA!
