UPPER SCHOOL STUDENT LIFE

A vital part of LCA’s education extends beyond the classroom to the activities and events that assist the students in discovering their talents and passions. Students are given opportunities—whether it is while visiting with friends in the hallways and around campus, participating in athletic events as team members or fans, participating in a fine arts performance, or worshiping together—to collaborate while developing their own strengths.

Our vibrant spiritual life programs promote the development of the biblical worldview as it impacts lifestyles, decision making, personal integrity, and social responsibility. Upper School students begin the year with Alpha Camp, an off-campus retreat, and continue with chapel programs, Breakaway, a spiritual emphasis day. Evidenced by the number of community service hours our students donate each year, LCA creates opportunities for students to carry out a practical application of sharing God's love.

While the academic coursework is rigorous, we believe that this environment, where the education extends beyond the classroom, creates a balanced education.
