How Braxton Roberts Built a Life Rooted in Purpose
After his time at LCA, Braxton (Brax) Roberts has created a wonderful life for himself, one he continues to grow and shape each day. His life is rooted in relationships, business, and family traditions. Today, Braxton runs his grandfather’s business, Braxton’s Antiques, where he continues the legacy that is built on hard work and relationships.
Following his graduation from Loganville Christian Academy (LCA) in 2015, Braxton immediately stepped into the world of business by working alongside his father. He had always worked at the antique shop as a kid, but wanted to pursue a full-time career in the area. Over time, he was given the opportunity to manage the operations of Braxton’s Antiques. In this job, he goes to families' homes and helps them in selling their household items. He mentioned that his ministry is to help people who are going through bad seasons, and that he wants to make their grieving process easier. Running a family-owned company has allowed Braxton to pursue his passion for helping others and building lasting relationships, honoring the foundation his father — and grandfather before him — established. When asked what his favorite part of the job was, he said, “My favorite two things are the relationships I get to make and that my job is different every single day.”
During his years at LCA, Braxton developed qualities that now serve him well as a business owner and role model for many others. He says that the welcoming and close-knit community, as well as the loving and supportive staff on campus helped him to become who he is today. He credited many teachers for their constant encouragement and their supportiveness that shaped him as a person. Braxton recalled several moments where he learned and pursued his love for business while he attended LCA. Braxton said he has a very close connection to the school and its staff to this day, and loves coming back to be a part of LCA. LCA's support and love has been an encouragement to Braxton as he chases his goals.
Even though Braxton’s career has kept him busy, his connection to LCA and its students has never faded. He continues serving on campus as an 8th, and later, 9th grade family group leader, encouraging the younger generation and leading them spiritually. Additionally, Brax has given back to the LCA community through athletics, where he helps coach volleyball for junior varsity and varsity teams. He uses these opportunities as a way to keep a close connection to the school and the people in it, and he enjoys the opportunity to connect with and mentor the students on campus. He loves being at the school and staying connected to the LCA community in these ways.
As Braxton reflected on his journey, he remained grateful of LCA’s impact that prepared him for his future after graduation. The life lessons and experiences that he had on campus, as well as the loving people who surrounded him, continue to guide him as he leads a family business and starts a family of his own.
Beyond all of his professional accomplishments, Braxton’s life has been filled with meaningful and life-changing milestones. He has been happily married to his wife, Hailey, for five years, and just recently they welcomed a new member to their family. In September 2025, the couple welcomed their first child, Levi Roberts. Braxton said that he is forever blessed with the life he has — from his career and company to his wonderful family he has started – and he treasures every moment he has had with his wife and Levi.
When asked what would be his main advice to current and future LCA students, Braxton focused on pursuing passions and living by doing what makes each person the happiest. He said,“If anything, do what you love. Don’t let the money or the world dictate what you do.” Braxton believes that chasing your dreams and goals is the best and most rewarding way to live, and that financial success is not the definition of a fulfilling life.
