Rising Loganville Christian Academy senior Brody Hahn recently participated in the United States Military Academy’s Summer Leaders Experience (SLE), a competitive program that gives high school students an inside look at life as a West Point cadet.

Led by current cadets, the weeklong experience introduces students to West Point’s rigorous academic, military, and leadership training. Participants engage in a variety of hands-on activities designed to challenge them both mentally and physically while developing teamwork and leadership skills.

During the program, Brody took part in academic courses, military simulations, marksmanship training, rappelling exercises, and squad leader training. The experience concluded with a graduation ceremony recognizing students’ successful completion of the program.

“It was a really fun experience,” Brody said. “I got to learn a lot about West Point and experience what it would be like to be a cadet. I want to thank God and my parents for providing this opportunity.”

LCA is proud to celebrate Brody’s accomplishment and the unique opportunities he is pursuing as he prepares for his senior year.
