Enhancing the LCA Story
LCA Sees Huge Success with Barton Program
Is your child smart, but struggles in reading and spelling? You are told they just need more time, and he will be just fine. Your student laboriously reads a page of print, but struggles with knowing what he just read. He typically has good oral comprehension, but struggles with reading it themselves to understand. We have witnessed bright students hit the wall some time between 3rd-5th grade in reading and/or spelling. What they need to be successful is early intervention, the sooner the better.

Always a Lion: Martha Caulk Retires
After sixteen years of service, Martha Caulk is retiring from her position as the Lodge Receptionist at LCA. During her time at LCA, she has worked as the Upper School Administrative Assistant and transitioned to her most recent role as the Lodge Receptionist back in 2010. While these have been her two titles at LCA, she has always been so much more to the LCA family.

2nd Grade Colonial Village
Each year, our second-grade students complete their colonial village project with a presentation in the gym that is open to students, staff, parents, and grandparents. This highly anticipated project was given a new spin due to COVID-19 as students brought their colonial trade characters to life through videos they recorded at home.
An Important Announcement
Alumnus Feature || Natalie Fowler
The transition from your hometown high school to the unknowns of college life can be daunting to even the most confident of us. Whether you have a full-ride scholarship and have your entire four (or more) years planned out, or you simply are unsure of what the Lord has planned for you after you cross that stage, gaining insight and encouragement from peers that are a few steps ahead of you can be invaluable. Natalie Fowler, a recent graduate of LCA, provides a glimpse into the life of a freshman in one of the most prestigious colleges in Georgia and offers up valuable advice for parents and students when preparing to take that next step toward God’s call on their lives.
