My LCA Story: Petitt Family
After a few weeks of praying, we took the leap of faith not knowing how we would make this work, but still at complete peace with our decision. When we told Addi our decision, she wanted to start right away! It was as if we could see the joy return to her right before our eyes. We knew then that God was writing her story, and we had to trust His plan for her life - a plan we now knew included LCA.

Like every good book, the LCA story is filled with chapters. As new students enter the LCA story, other students turn their tassels and transition to the next chapter. At LCA, we believe in the phrase “once a Lion, always a Lion,” so we love to hear from our alumni about where they are in their stories today. Hear from Mason Wittner, class of 2014, about where God has led him as well as how his chapter in the LCA story has affected his life.

“Going into the "real world" after college sometimes isn't easy, but I felt more than prepared and I owe a large part of that to the time I spent at LCA. I'm able to continue to show the love of Christ through work, in my new marriage, and in friendships that continue to blossom.” Click here to take a glimpse into alumnus Abbey (Browning) Richey’s story of pursuing art and design!

Enhancing the LCA Story
LCA Sees Huge Success with Barton Program
Is your child smart, but struggles in reading and spelling? You are told they just need more time, and he will be just fine. Your student laboriously reads a page of print, but struggles with knowing what he just read. He typically has good oral comprehension, but struggles with reading it themselves to understand. We have witnessed bright students hit the wall some time between 3rd-5th grade in reading and/or spelling. What they need to be successful is early intervention, the sooner the better.

Always a Lion: Martha Caulk Retires
After sixteen years of service, Martha Caulk is retiring from her position as the Lodge Receptionist at LCA. During her time at LCA, she has worked as the Upper School Administrative Assistant and transitioned to her most recent role as the Lodge Receptionist back in 2010. While these have been her two titles at LCA, she has always been so much more to the LCA family.
