Teachers are the heartbeat of our community. They spend their days teaching, their evenings planning, and somehow find time in between to grade, invest, and love on the future generation. Thanks to four high school girls, we have kicked off our newest middle school girls' mentor program, Girls Growing in Grace (GGIG)! Out of a desire to invest in the next generation, junior Lily Ernst has created a weekly middle school girls' small group with a few of her friends, and we could not be more proud of the impact her team is making on our girls!
Since the establishment of LCA back in 1998, our story has been one of God’s faithfulness revealed through His people. From laying sod to building classrooms, our story has become a timeline of families committed to leaving their mark not just for their children, but the generations to come. After a few weeks of praying, we took the leap of faith not knowing how we would make this work, but still at complete peace with our decision. When we told Addi our decision, she wanted to start right away! It was as if we could see the joy return to her right before our eyes. We knew then that God was writing her story, and we had to trust His plan for her life - a plan we now knew included LCA.
Like every good book, the LCA story is filled with chapters. As new students enter the LCA story, other students turn their tassels and transition to the next chapter.
