At LCA, we truly believe in the saying, “once a lion, always a lion,” and we love to celebrate alumni in the current chapter of the story God is writing in their lives. Today, we are proud to celebrate class of 2016 Salutatorian Rachel Byers for passing the bar to become a Georgia Attorney! Teacher by Day, Author by Night
Teachers are the heartbeat of our community. They spend their days teaching, their evenings planning, and somehow find time in between to grade, invest, and love on the future generation. Everyone has memories of their favorite teachers and the impact they made on their lives. To say Mrs. Michelle Tanner has gone above and beyond for her students is an understatement. Click here to read more about how she chose to be the solution!
Alumni Spotlight: Alexandra Hammock
If you knew Alexandra in high school, you knew she was a girl on a mission: attend UGA law school and become an attorney. Although not surprised, we were thrilled when we heard she was sworn in on November 9, 2023. Click here to read her story as well as her advice to students interested in pursuing a law degree.
Making Room for Mentoring
Thanks to four high school girls, we have kicked off our newest middle school girls' mentor program, Girls Growing in Grace (GGIG)! Out of a desire to invest in the next generation, junior Lily Ernst has created a weekly middle school girls' small group with a few of her friends, and we could not be more proud of the impact her team is making on our girls!

Leave Your Mark: Andre King
Since the establishment of LCA back in 1998, our story has been one of God’s faithfulness revealed through His people. From laying sod to building classrooms, our story has become a timeline of families committed to leaving their mark not just for their children, but the generations to come. Hear from Andre King, our Community Engagement and College Recruitment Director about his LCA story and the mark that was left on his family from past LCA families that gave to the vision and mission of Loganville Christian Academy.

My LCA Story: Petitt Family
After a few weeks of praying, we took the leap of faith not knowing how we would make this work, but still at complete peace with our decision. When we told Addi our decision, she wanted to start right away! It was as if we could see the joy return to her right before our eyes. We knew then that God was writing her story, and we had to trust His plan for her life - a plan we now knew included LCA.

Like every good book, the LCA story is filled with chapters. As new students enter the LCA story, other students turn their tassels and transition to the next chapter. At LCA, we believe in the phrase “once a Lion, always a Lion,” so we love to hear from our alumni about where they are in their stories today. Hear from Mason Wittner, class of 2014, about where God has led him as well as how his chapter in the LCA story has affected his life.

“Going into the "real world" after college sometimes isn't easy, but I felt more than prepared and I owe a large part of that to the time I spent at LCA. I'm able to continue to show the love of Christ through work, in my new marriage, and in friendships that continue to blossom.” Click here to take a glimpse into alumnus Abbey (Browning) Richey’s story of pursuing art and design!
